Chinese fast fashion online retailer Shein has announced that it will open its first brick-and-mortar store in Harajuku, a famed shopping district in Tokyo, on November 13.
The announcement dropped after the brand launched a pop-up store in Osaka, running until the end of January 2023.
Founded in 2008, Shein, the Nanjing-based ecommerce platform, was recognized as the world's biggest fashionretailer in 2022 and now ships to over 220 countries.
The company's popularity skyrocketed in recent years thanks to its low prices and extensive selection of fashion items.A TikTok trend labeled 'Shein hauls' sees young netizens worldwide ordering Shein products in bulk and trying them on camera.
