In Netflix’s new, road-rage-fueled TV series Beef, Ali Wong takes on one of her best roles yet.
Amy is a small business owner married to the wealthy son of a famous artist; her life seems picture-perfect, yet a road rage incident between her and a stranger (a spectacular Steven Yeun) threatens to blow her existence wide open.
Beef is a dark drama-comedy produced by A24, the company behind the big winner at this year’s Oscars — Everything Everywhere All At Once. The show has garnered critical acclaim, with a 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Wong, who is Chinese-Vietnamese, graduated from UCLA with a major in Asian American Studies before pursuing her dream of becoming a comedian.
