The Chapel of Sound, a monolithic concert hall located on the outskirts of Beijing, is in the running for the Dezeen Awards 2022 (Cultural Architecture Category).

Designed by Open Architecture, which has offices in both Beijing and NYC, the rock foundation is one of 57 architecture projects that were shortlisted from over 5,400 entries.
