Literally ‘Lying Flat’: China Embraces Human-Sized Dog Beds
Couches and bean bags are out, human-sized dog beds are in.
These massive, fluffy nests are being billed by netizens as the ultimate relaxation aid.
If you search the Instagram-like platform Xiaohongshu for ‘human dog houses’ (人类狗窝), you will come across dozens of posts of people sprawled — with or without their dogs — on the floor.
Some of these posts are ads for Plufl, a start-up that claims to have created “the world’s first dog bed for humans.”
GIVENCHY

One Xiaohongshu user commented, “I'm going to fill my bedroom with massive dog beds.”
